The phoenix puzzle, made of walnut plywood, is a tangram inlay puzzle that rests on top of a birchwood tray on the lid of a birch stained box. Designed to be a difficult puzzle, the pieces should fit and align a specific way, with its grain. The back of each piece is numbered and a solution guide is included.
On the top of the box are corner hardware decorations that are intentionally raised higher so to hold a plastic sleeve which keeps the wood tiles in place as you open the lid.
